I have just two complaints; a … More very small amount of wood trim was supposed to be replaced and painted and the flashing around two chimneys was to be replaced. Neither of these were done well. The trim was not completely replaced nor was it painted, and the chimney flashing work was sloppy. Types of Coatings That Can Be Applied

ASPHALT

ACRYLIC
Acrylic or elastomeric coatings are highly reflective and help prevent rust. POLYURETHANES
Where urethanes are flexible, polyurethanes are stiff and rigid. Polyurethane roof coatings are impact-resistant and can handle a good amount of traffic. They are available in two variations – aromatic or aliphatic polyurethane, each with their respective merits.
SILICONE
Silicone roof coatings protect against leaking and are ultra-sustainable. They’re easy to apply, and because they’re not water-based, they are highly water resistant by nature. A silicone roof coating can withstand ponding water and easily last 10-15 years. However, silicone is not the best choice for heavy traffic because it can be very slippery when wet.
GRANULES
Granules can be added to many roof coating systems to increase the coating’s resistance to impact and abrasion. It can also improve its safety by creating a non-slip surface. It’s ideal for commercial buildings that have a high amount of roof activity and can be used on asphalt shingles, modified bitumen roofs, and single-ply roofs.
